How to Use Pages on Blogger

This tutorial will explain how to use Pages to add a tool bar to your blog. Thankfully, it is very simple.

Let's say you have a header like this:

But you want to add some links below your header. Ones that say "home" "about me" "contact me" and "recipes"

First you should create the Pages you want.

Go to POSTING
then go to EDIT PAGES
then to NEW PAGE

Now you can add your title "about me"
Then your text, just like a NEW POST. You will not need to make a "home" Page because that is automatically added when you add the Pages widget.

Add all the Pages you want (up to 10) following the before mentioned steps. If you want to add a page that says "recipes" that will lead your readers to all the post that you have LABELED "recipes" then follow these steps.

Open your blog in a new window
Find a Post with the Label you are searching for
Click on the Label link
Now all the posts that I have LABELED with "recipes" will be available below.
Copy the URL ADDRESS

Go back to the NEW PAGE page
Look for the small button that says "Link"
Paste the URL ADDRESS
Add text that says something like "Click Here for My Recipes"
I wish it were a direct link- but that's as good as it gets for now

Now that you have created all the pages you want it's time to move the widget under your header.

Go to LAYOUT
locate your Pages Widget (or add the Pages widget if it's not up yet)
Grab and carry the widget until a section is highlighted just under your header
Drop the widget
PREVIEW and then SAVE

That's it! You now have a fully functioning Toolbar/ Navigation bar/ or Tabs as Blogger likes to call it. Email me if you run into any problems!
Happy Blogging!
